Answer B) William H. Dietz coached at Wyoming in 1924 (2-6-0) and 1925 (6-3-0). Dietz also coached at Purdue in 1921 (Overall 1-6-0, Homecoming record 1-0-0). Another interesting footnote about Coach Dietz is that he coached Washington State in the second Rose Bowl game played in 1916.


Answer D) Fred Akers coached at Wyoming in 1975 (2-9-0) and 1976 (8-4-0). Coach Akers led Wyoming to a 1976 Fiesta Bowl appearance against Oklahoma. Akers also coached at Purdue 1987-90 (Overall 12-31-1, Homecoming record 2-2-0).
