- Reception Total: WR Taylor Stubblefield - holds the Boilermaker and Big Ten record with 304 catches. The NCAA did not include bowl games in calculating record totals until 2002 so he is credited with 295 receptions toward the NCAA record of 300. Stubblefield has 68 receptions in 2004.

Marshall has a 5-5 record and play Western Michigan in their final regular season game 11/20/04.
